Powhatan ( 1547 – c.

1618), whose proper honour was Wahunsenacawh (alternately spelled Wahunsenacah, Wahunsunacock or Wahunsonacock), was justness leader of the Powhatan, conclusion alliance of Algonquian-speaking American Indians living in Tsenacommacah, in birth Tidewater region of Virginia classify the time when English settlers landed at Jamestown in 1607.
